I apologize this message is long but worth it to read it all....

For those of you finding this particular sight, join the email group available at Tess Almond's web sight ( ). The more of you who join, the more contacts you will make; the message board/group site there is "VERY active"; this particular site's message board is stagnant in forwarding the postings to email addresses; (used to work but doesn't anymore and cant update if you change email addresses) so can easily miss something unless actually come to the board here to check. We are having alot of good reunions (all ZHS years) and the more that participate, the more often we can hold them.

I posted the 1983 yearbook this morning. ( ) With that, I have posted every yearbook in the history of ZHS, each, in its entirety, onto the websight. After the BRAC commission and with where the military is going with infrastructure reduction etc....I sincerely doubt that the base will ever be re-activated
to a point where they re-establish a school there so I'm guessing that I won't ever be adding to the actual yearbook ('s themselves) section. However, the Blast from the Past is still wide open as is the Living Yearbooks Section and I encourage all to provide for the expansion of those areas.

I DO NOT recommend providing self information for the Memorium Section , and I really hate adding to that section BUT, if you are in receipt of information of the passing on of a former ZABBIE, ZHS faculty/dorm counselor, or significant personality involved with the school/activities, please let me know. If you have pictures (later than the yearbooks versions) for any people who need to be added to the sight or who are already on the sight (some of the old yearbook photos for people on there aren't of the best quality after resizing) I ask you to provide those as well.

Everybody take care, keep in touch, and KEEP the BFP and LYB stuff rolling into me !!! Those who have already provided, "beat" on your friends and fellow classmates to do the same.....hopefully after reunion wont have alot of black and blue "souls" sending me photos, Toro Talks, etc. but if they haven't added their up to date photos to their respective classes and their nostalgia to my information portal, then they really SHOULD !!!

I really really wish I could make this coming reunion but my circumstances and situation will be in extreme flux once we have our house on the market; not totally positive will sell quick and when it does sell, will be doing a relocation "temporary" i.e. finding a domicile to reside in until October when I go on "terminal leave" prior to retiring from military and relocating to / job searching in midwest/south area (KY, TN, ILL, MO is where we have narrowed it down to at this point LOL). We'll see and I hope to see everyone in 2008 depending on if they set up a reunion for that year and where it is set up for....for me (and several folks on the list though we may not like to admit it), 2008 would be the "actual" 30 year reunion which is one of the milestone sort of reunions that the stateside alumni associations tend to set things up for for specific classes.

The years are 1958 to 1992; less 65-70 when the school was closed and there were no yearbooks.

For those who haven't looked at it for awhile (and maybe were disgusted with the old advertisement laden/bandwidth restricted options), I recently (about 4 months ago) switched to my own domain at the site. At the same time, I totally revamped and changed the site to make it more user friendly and easier to navigate. It would take a significant and sudden influx of ALOT of activity (checking every year and listening to every song on there) from just about every person in this list to reach the bandwidth limits for which I am paying. If you are using dial-up, the pages may take longer to load but are definitely worth the wait.

The music selections on there are no longer the cheesy "midi" files, but are the actual songs in mp3 format. If you want a copy for your ipod or mp3 player, after listening, go into your internet cache and move a copy from there to your desktop to use in uploading to your player OR you can contact me to obtain an emailed copy of any song(s) of any year on the site. BTW, if you look at the song selections from earlier years, there are some really golden oldies in there. Finally, IF you notice that a major major popular song of the day (like something that everyone requested and danced to in a particular year at Mom's Place) is MISSING...let me know...I'll get a copy of the missing song onto the list for that year !!! I used Top 100 listings and picked several songs for each year....but I can't guess other than the actual years I attended the school, if I lucked into the ones that everyone liked, danced and listened to.
